I’m teaching at my fourth fiddle camp this summer at the O’Connor Method Camp in Charleston, SC and I couldn’t feel further away from snow. However, with fiddles, amazing friends and some of the best food in the country I couldn’t be happier. I managed to ski every month November – July in Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado. I did get my fair share of summer skiing and it was awesome. Next week, I’ll be at Rustic Roots, primitive music camp, in our third year (and I’m the director!) Check out our camp at www.rusticroots.net
I’m really excited for some upcoming ski videos which are almost done (including the skiing fiddler music video!) and in the meantime I want to post a little taste of that with an old time Cripple Creek, and another Montana ski video while I’m at it. I did ski an entire run while playing fiddle at Silverton Mountain, Colorado, where every single trail is double black..
